What happened

ARK Invest and Securitize announced that the ARK Venture Fund, ARKVX, is being tokenized through Securitize and made available on Ethereum.

The actively managed fund invests across private and public companies associated with disruptive innovation. Eligible investors using Securitize can access the fund through blockchain-based issuance and investor infrastructure, while Securitize supports the onchain representation and experience.

The announcement follows ARK's strategic investment in Securitize in October 2025 and extends that relationship into a live fund product.

Blue Rogues read

This is not a crypto fund being wrapped in institutional language. It is an existing regulated interval fund adopting blockchain infrastructure for ownership and access.

That distinction matters because the investment economics still come from the underlying portfolio and fund structure. Ethereum changes the representation and servicing layer; it does not create daily liquidity, remove eligibility rules or guarantee a secondary market.

What this confirms

ARK and Securitize have moved ARKVX issuance onto Ethereum for eligible investors. It is another example of an established asset manager using public-blockchain infrastructure for a regulated investment product.

What it does not confirm

Tokenization does not turn ARKVX into a continuously liquid exchange-traded product. The fund is non-diversified, shares are not listed on an exchange, no secondary market is expected and repurchase offers can be limited or oversubscribed. Investors can lose principal.
