Bitcoin Rebounds After Falling Below $77K as Yields Tighten Conditions
Bitcoin recovered near $77,800 after trading as low as roughly $76,400, while hotter producer inflation and rising Treasury yields tightened conditions for risk assets.

Bitcoin fell below $77,000 before recovering near $77,800 in the September 11 session. Ethereum traded near $2,574 after falling to approximately $2,437 intraday.
The macro backdrop turned less supportive after the U.S. Producer Price Index for final demand rose 0.4% in August and 5.4% over twelve months. Higher Treasury yields increased the return available on lower-risk assets and tightened financial conditions.
That combination can pressure crypto without a crypto-specific failure. The move is consistent with broad de-risking as investors reprice inflation and interest-rate expectations, but the exact contribution of each driver cannot be isolated from price action alone.
The rebound also matters. A headline that says Bitcoin is currently below $77,000 would already be stale at the later observation, so the level must be treated as an intraday event rather than a continuing state.
The next evidence is whether yields remain elevated, whether Bitcoin holds the recovered range and whether weakness broadens or reverses across other risk assets.
