Circle is discontinuing support for USDC and the legacy CCTP V1 protocol on Noble as it moves the wider network toward CCTP V2. Noble will not receive the newer protocol.

New USDC minting on Noble through Circle Mint is scheduled to end on October 13, 2026. Circle Mint redemptions remain available until January 12, 2027, although CCTP V1 burn limits are due to begin declining on October 31.

USDC remains transferable on Noble during the transition period. Holders are being directed to migrate through supported exchanges, decentralized venues or CCTP V1 before the pause.

Circle says it will take a snapshot of remaining balances on the pause date and open a manual redemption process beginning January 13, subject to compliance, security and wallet-control requirements.

This is a phased infrastructure exit, not evidence that every Noble USDC balance is immediately frozen. The practical risk is waiting until liquidity and cross-chain exit capacity narrow closer to the deadlines.
