Coinbase and Moov Bring Stablecoin Rails to Community Banks
The partnership adds stablecoin acceptance, settlement, custody and real-time funding to infrastructure serving more than 1,000 U.S. community banks and credit unions.

Coinbase and payments company Moov are integrating stablecoin capabilities into a platform already used by more than 1,000 U.S. community banks and credit unions.
Coinbase supplies regulated digital-asset infrastructure, including custody and stablecoin rails. Moov supplies the existing payments layer and the relationships through which participating institutions can offer those capabilities.
The structure matters because the banks and credit unions keep the direct customer relationship. The partnership is an infrastructure bridge, not a transfer of those customers to Coinbase.
Access alone does not prove adoption. The announcement does not establish how many institutions will activate the services, how quickly customers will use them or what transaction volume the integration will generate.
The next evidence is product activation by named institutions, recurring payment volume and measurable use beyond pilot or optional access.
