Trump-Linked Brand Promotes GOLD Before Token Collapses
Real Trump Coins deleted promotional posts as team-linked wallets sold 224.5 million tokens and GOLD fell about 98%, according to Lookonchain.

A Solana-based token promoted by the Trump-linked Real Trump Coins brand collapsed within hours of launch after team-linked wallets sold 224.5 million GOLD, according to blockchain analytics cited by Cointelegraph.
The brand promoted “Trump Digital GOLD” on X before deleting related posts. Its website continued to advertise the token and a plan to use 99% of trading fees for buybacks at the time of the report.
Lookonchain attributed the large token sales to wallets linked with the team. GOLD’s market value fell roughly 98% during the episode. Wallet attribution can show relationships and flows, but it does not by itself establish the legal identity, intent or ultimate control of every participant.
The Trump connection requires equal precision. Real Trump Coins is a brand previously promoted by President Donald Trump; that does not establish that the White House, the president or his family issued or controlled this specific token.
Blue Rogues interpretation: the incident demonstrates why a recognizable political brand is not a substitute for verified issuer identity, transparent allocations and enforceable governance. Promotion can create attention immediately; provenance determines whether that attention deserves trust.
What to watch: project disclosures, exchange actions, wallet attribution updates and any regulatory or law-enforcement response.
